Magnet Rods : Versatile, extreme power rare earths for fine impurity separation

Abbreviations and Conventions used Storewide

All Dimensions are in Metric Scale (mm); Conventions and abbreviations used throughout the Store:

L : Length | OD : Outer Dia | ID : Inner Dia | W : Width | H : Height | T : Thickness (also Height) | CS : Countersunk | G : Gauss

The terms Force or Pull Force are used interchangeably throughout the store and refer to the maximum observable or tested force against a 10mm thick grinded finish mild steel plate. The pull force will depreciate with thinner plates or sheets. The Pull force or Force is expressed in lbs, Kg or N.

[10N (Newtons) = approx 1 Kg = approx 2.2 lbs Pull Force]

  • Standard Magnetic Rods are of 25.4mm (1 inch) in diameter and any length up to 98” with threaded hole mounting on single or both ends. Other diameters and lengths are available on request.
  • Square or other magnetic tubes with different shapes, dimensions & mounting options such as nail head, thread hole, double screw bolt are available.
  • Peak value of 12000 Gauss on the 1" Dia models and 15000 Gauss on 1.5 and 2" dia rods.
  • Magnetic Rods are usually made of seamless 304 or 316 stainless steel tubes and can be fine polished and full welded to meet food grade or pharmacy applications.
  • The max working temperature is 80° C for the standard construction. Higher temperature models can be constructed upto 200° C
  • Perfect tool for extremely fine-grained impurities (0.1mm to 3mm) that cannot be trapped by other conventional equipment such as overhead separators.
